Uke'n Play Ukulele

Uke'n Play Ukulele

When I walked into my local music store looking for my first mahalo toy uke, I asked the guy helping me out (who just happened to be a huge dude covered in tattoos with a 6 inch fro’) if he had any beginner books that would be good to start me off he recommended Uke’n Play Ukulele by Mike Jackson (Not THE Michael Jackson).
He said something along the lines of “Try to get over the creepy looking dude on the front, don’t expect the coolest songs in there, but it’s a good start”. I don’t think I could have put it any better.

If you have no musical expericence, tone deaf and lack rhythm. You are in desperate need of something like this. The CD along with the well worded book is great place to learn your first song.

I paid a lot more at the music store than I would have on Amazon, but I was an impulsive buy and we all want that instant gratification don’t we?
